How it works

Start with what you know. The tree fills itself in.

You add the few people you are sure of. Each person you invite adds their own side, and every relationship is confirmed by the people it involves. The tree gets more accurate as it grows, not less.

01

Start

Add yourself, your parents and your grandparents. Dates can be exact, approximate or just a year.

For institutionsStart with your organisation at the top, then its chapters, companies or cohorts underneath.
02

Invite

Send a link on WhatsApp. A cousin joins and adds their side of the family in their own language.

NeverNobody is added to a public page without their say. A new member sees only their own family.
03

Confirm

Each relationship shows how many members have confirmed it. Anyone can say "this is wrong", and the correction goes to the people involved.

CheckedA tree can't make someone their own ancestor. That rule is being built into every save.
04

Grow

Stories, photos and dates collect on each person. Weekly challenges and Family Power keep the whole family adding branches.

In the appStories, family messaging, share cards, challenges and leaderboards, in eight languages.

Inside the app

Everything a family keeps, in one place.

Built for the way Indian families actually talk and remember: in many languages, across many cities, with grandparents who know the most and phones that are not always new.

Generations, both sides

Parents, grandparents, in-laws and cousins, with dates that can be exact, approximate or just a year.

Confirmed by family

Each relationship shows how many members confirmed it. Corrections go to the people involved, not to a stranger.

Stories and memories

Photos, dates and the stories that belong to a person, added by anyone in the family.

Family messaging

Talk to relatives inside the app, with photos and voice notes, in threads that belong to your family.

Cards to share

Turn a branch or a milestone into a card for WhatsApp. You choose exactly what it shows.

Family Power and challenges

A family score and weekly challenges that turn adding the next branch into something everyone joins.

Eight languages

English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, so grandparents can add what they remember.

Report, block, delete

Report or block from inside the app, export what you added, and delete your account from settings.

One identity, two trees

Daughter in one tree. Member in another.

A person exists once on GLOBEES. Their family profile and their professional profile stay separate until they choose to connect them.

In the family tree

  • Parents, children, spouses, in-laws and cousins
  • Birth dates, places and the stories on each person
  • Photos and family messages, inside the family only
  • Who confirmed each relationship, and any open corrections
  • Visibility chosen per person and per relationship

In the network tree

  • Organisations, chapters, companies, teams and cohorts
  • Members and their roles, with verification where it applies
  • Notes, reminders and follow-ups on contacts
  • Verified alumni spaces for a batch or a school
  • A link to the family profile only with the person's consent

For institutions

Your whole network, on one map.

For ecosystems, professional institutes, alumni bodies and associations that want to see who is in their network, where each person sits and who to talk to next.

Map

Organisations and their people

Every organisation in your network with its chapters, teams and members underneath, in one tree you can browse and search. The levels are whatever your network uses.

Follow up

Notes, reminders and contacts

A contact history on each person and organisation, with reminders, so a conversation started at an event is not lost the week after.

Privacy

Your family is not public by default.

A family tree holds names, birthdays and relationships of people who never signed up. Each control below is in the app today.

01

Visibility per person

Choose who can see each person and each relationship, and hide anyone who should not be shown.

per person · per relationship
02

Consent before any link

A professional profile connects to a family profile only when the person chooses to connect them.

opt-in · reversible
03

Report and block

Anyone can report content or block a person from inside the app. Reports go to a human review queue.

in-app · reviewed by staff
04

Corrections, not overwrites

A wrong relationship is flagged to the people involved. Nobody quietly rewrites someone else's family.

confirmations · disputes
05

Your data, your call

Export everything you have added, or delete your account and the data that goes with it, from settings.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What is GLOBEES?
A platform for trees of people. Families build their family tree across generations. Institutions map their network of organisations, teams and members. A person exists once and can belong to both, with each tree seeing only what they allow.
Can I use it today?
GLOBEES is in a private preview. The Android app is in testing and the web version is open to preview members. A public release on Google Play follows the launch checks in the roadmap. Request access below and we will add you.
Who can see my family tree?
The members of your family, and only as much as each person's visibility setting allows. A family tree is not public by default, and you can hide any person or relationship.
What if someone adds a relationship that is wrong?
Anyone in the family can say "this is wrong". The correction goes to the people the relationship involves, and each link shows how many members have confirmed it.
Our institution has its own structure. Will it fit?
The network tree takes whatever levels you use: chapters, regions, companies, teams, cohorts or batches. Tell us about yours and we will set it up with you.
Does it cost anything?
Nothing is charged during the preview. Pricing for any paid feature will be published before anyone is asked to pay.
Who is behind GLOBEES?
